About Roger
Roger adds a lot of nice to the Drumbmba line up , always a cheerful dununba

Roger began his percussion journey in 1979 with congas, firstly taking lessons with Clive Roydhouse, then playing for Dance North’s warm up classes from 1986 to 1998. He then was a foundation member of Tumbadoras, an Afro-Cuban drumming group, and in 2001, Wassa, Rhythms of West Africa until 2016. After a three year stint playing as percussionist and singer with a disco acid jazz group, Roger returned to West African music in 2020 with Drumbumba, as dundunfola and singer.
